The most exhausting emotion is the emotion of missing someone. It’s constantly on your mind, tenderly in your heart, manifests through your actions, expressed through your emotions. What’s interesting is that missing someone is a sweet yet painful feeling. When you miss the person you’re reminded of your love for them, and when you’re reminded of your love for them, you feel the pain of missing them. In deeper thought, harboring dual emotions is part and parcel of the human experience. To be able to carry pain and love in one heart is the essence of life, because the pain of love is inevitable and inextricable. To love is to suffer. But I would say wholeheartedly that it is better to love and suffer than to have never have loved at all.
