We live in a world where everything that has a beginning will inevitably come to an end. Some things last seconds while others consume centuries to disappear. This immutable law of nature is the law of our lives. Your age comes and goes; your youth vanishes with only the faint trace of your memories. Even the people are on loan to you, some leave sooner than others, but everyone leaves you at the end. And when they’re gone, you miss them.
That’s the inherent risk we take in living. It takes courage to live, strength to move on, and love to let go. But what consoles me is just as the night gives rise to a new day, hope will give rise to a new life. A new you. The beauty of everything changing is that you change with it. And that’s a beauty that makes it all worth living for.
