I don’t write about nature and how inspire it can
I write about the One & Only God and man
Nature’s enthrallment is more than impressive
For it presses with ever-increasing awe that can pierce
Brings solace to a wounded soul that is depressive
Captivates with an overwhelming force that is fierce
But to get lost in nature when there is God and man
Is like tasting but not eating
Letter writing and not meeting
Engaging a love that is fleeting
Nature is beauty
But its beauty pales in comparison to the beauty of man
Not the oceans, golden sunset, or endless skies
When placed next to man, a chance it can ever stand
Can nature move a man the way he is moved by a woman
For what a man is willing to do for a woman
Is there ever a greater passion that inspires a human
Can nature stir a woman the way she is stirred by a man
For how a woman has for a man desire
Is there ever a desire that has more fire
Man is splendor
But his splendor is an echo of the beauty of the One
Because like daughter like mother, like father like son
God and man are different but paradoxically one
One day I might write about the nature of nature
But today I rather write something that transcends
Not something that is within nature and to it it bends
