Land of Jerusalem
So many hills and valleys
And ups and down
When you want to get around
It can be dizzying when you
You just want to go
Down the street to town
Some of the hills are steep
Some are deep
Some streets so tight you have to creep
But there’s always a depression
And if you stay on the road long enough
You’re bound to run into a elation
You’re never just in one station
All different types of gradations
The land changes fast
You might run into a road that’s flat
But it never lasts
Wherever you are immediately becomes the past
The simple roads can be an adventure
A real blast
But be careful sometimes it’s foggy
And overcast
In Jerusalem
One things for sure
That you will never plateau
The topography of this land is not just of this land
But a mirror of the soul
Where there are ebbs and flows
Highs and lows
You fall you grow
Your rise You take a blow
You’re dark You glow
You sprint You stroll
You’re empty You’re whole
Jerusalem, Jerusalem not just a land
But the journey of the soul
