Time of Mine

You are Timeless
Precious
Glorious
Invisible yet powerful
Rushing towards infinity
Taking everyone and everything with you
For who can live without you?

I wish I can stop you
Hold you
Bring you next to me

Ask you …

Who are you?
I can’t understand you
I wish I can grasp you
Ask you – who do you run away from
And  who are you running to?
No one here is out to hurt you
We need you
It would be a pleasure to meet you
Get to know you

Why the rush?

You’re never here or there
I know you do what you have to do but I don’t think your ways are fair
With the past gone and future not here
And the present melts aways and disappears

So I painfully ask

Where do I reside?
Am I even alive?
Is there such a thing even as life?
If I’m just like a drifting wind drifting through the invisible night?

Oh time of mine

You give birth to all that exists but you take life from all that lives

You are alive but senseless, precarious
Fragile and careless
unintentionally cruel,
But To all that lives you are the fuel
Yet you take all life without hesitation
Without any mention
The fact that you will leave is man’s motivation
But at the same time it is the reason for his inner turmoil and tension

At the end of the day You’re all that I have
You give me the time for smiles and laughs
I love that you’re here but hate that you have to always go
Please don’t tell me that’s not so

Can’t you see I need you so?

What can I tell you to make you stay?
What can I do so you don’t run away?
Where can I find you?
Where do you hide?
What is the reason for your sudden flight?
To think you of you gone makes me want to cry
I’m terrified for you are the dear of my life
Please tell my what is my crime

Why do you leave me?
I need you so
so why don’t you need me so?

But now that you are here
I should enjoy you and have no fear
If you’re not yet gone so why all my tears
And when you leave you will still be my dear

Time of mine if you have to leave
If you have to take away my last breath that I breathe

So Please accept this rhyme of mine
And let me thank you for your time
Because even when you’re gone
I’ll always be grateful to you for what you have given me all along

My time of mine
The one who has given me
